<Kiyosato Area Information>
Kiyosato Highland is located at the southern foot of the Yatsugatake mountain range in Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture, close to both Tokyo and Nagoya. The plateau offers a beautiful contrast to the 3,000-meter-high mountains such as Mt.Muji and the Southern Alps.
You can enjoy nature with its distinct seasonal changes, museums, various sports, mountain climbing, trekking, and hot springs.
Hokuto City is one of the few areas in Japan that produces five types of alcohol (whiskey, wine, beer, sake, and shochu) and you can also enjoy nice fresh highland vegetables.
This building, located a five-minute walk from Kiyosato Station in Yamanashi Prefecture, is currently operated as a porcelain museum. It is a beautiful European-style building.
