Echigo-Yuzawa/Naeba is a beautiful Hot Spring and Ski Resort area nestled in the Japan Alps directly north of Tokyo in Niigata Prefecture. Home to numerous ski resorts and hot springs, The Yuzawa area is a wonderful all-season mountain escape very close to Tokyo.

A short drive or bus ride from Echigo-Yuzawa is the impressive Naeba-Kagura ski resort are. Naeba has facilities to cater to all levels of skiers and many family friendly activities. Kagura is popular with hard core skiers and snowboarders for its deep powder, ample backcountry, and 6-month long ski season, the longest on the main Island of Japan. Kagura and Naeba are connected by a 5 km Gondola called the Dragondola. Naeba Ski Resort is also home to the Fuji Rock Festival each summer, one of the largest annual music festivals in Japan.

Direct bullet trains from Tokyo and Ueno Stations connect to Echigo Yuzawa Station in just over an hour. It is also reachable by car in just over 2.
